We Have Many Years of Experience in the Field

We built a successful kitchen and bath rep agency from scratch. The majorityof lines we represent were pioneered in New England and upstate New York by us. We have over 150 loyal dealers and the list is growing.

We generate ideas that are dynamic, implementable, measurable and effective. We pursue unconventional methods and marketing techniques to create markets where none existed.

1978

Ray Ducharme began selling cabinetry and millwork to small builders in the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts.

1982

Doug Brenner began building his sales expertise in a few New England and New York niches. Ray moved into every aspect of the kitchen and bath industry from retail designer to Director of Marketing and Training for several U.S. manufacturers.

1989

Doug opened a retail kitchen and bath showroom that grew to a $3M dealership with 14 employees. His company was honored by two vendors as a “Top 25 Dealer” in the U.S.

2008

Rave Reps was born! Doug Brenner and Ray Ducharme joined forces to bring their first cabinet line to New England.

2014

Jim Partsch joined Rave Reps, bringing his 20+ years of experience in working closely with dealers, architects and designers in upstate NY.

2015

Rave partnered with Ripano Stoneworks in Nashua NH to create a state-of-the-art showroom and training center to showcase beautiful and creative kitchen and stonework designs. Training workshops for dealers and designers began.

2020

Ray presented as a Designated Speaker at 2020 NKBA KBIS event in Las Vegas. Presentation: “The 5P’s” Approved for 0.1 CEU by NKBA

2021

Rave is proudly an $8M company servicing kitchen and bath dealers and designers in the 6 New England states and upstate New York.

Ray Ducharme began selling cabinetry and millwork to small builders in the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts in 1978.

He has worked in every aspect of the kitchen and bath industry, from retail designer to the Director of Marketing and Training for several national manufacturers. Project management responsibilities included product development, marketing, advertising campaigns and production of the manufacturer’s specification and sales catalogs.

He continues to consult with manufacturers and dealer clients on best practices and sales applications. His experience on local and national levels offers the best training programs clients can receive.

Doug Brenner CKD brings to Rave Reps LLC extensive management, retail, and design knowledge.

While working for two major consumer goods companies, Procter & Gamble and Miller Brewing Co., his responsibilities included managing independently owned distributors and working with them in developing and monitoring their marketing and business plans, inventory control and administrative duties.

In 1989, he opened a retail kitchen and bath showroom that grew to a $3M dealership with 14 employees. His company was honored by two vendors as a “Top 25 Dealer” in the country.  Doug has also served multiple terms as officer in the Northern New England chapter of NKBA.

Having earned the CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer), Doug has the qualifications and experience to teach design and sales techniques.

Jim Partsch represents Marsh, Woodland, Task, and Southside in all of the upstate New York territory. Jim started in the kitchen and bath industry 20 years ago.

His experience in this industry ranges from the smallest residential projects to the largest commercial projects. He has extensive experience in working closely with dealers, architects and designers, having helped many to grow their business and achieve their goals.

Jim’s ability to recognize his dealers’ best marketing edge has steadily kept them ahead of their competition.

With over 28 years in the Kitchen & Bath industry, Colin brings a unique blend of design expertise, technical knowledge, and business insight to his role in dealer support. He began his career designing kitchens and baths for a design/build firm, eventually transitioning into showroom sales and operating his own design studio. Colin has been a Woodland and Legend cabinetry dealer for a number of years and brings a deep understanding of the interstices of both lines. Colin has also worked extensively as a freelance designer and business coach, specializing in 2020 Design software training and process optimization for dealers and designers alike. Through his continued work as a kitchen dealer, Colin remains deeply connected to the day-to-day realities of cabinetry sales and design, allowing him to offer relevant, real-world support to our dealer partners.

Whether it’s layout assistance, design troubleshooting, or streamlining workflows, Colin is committed to helping dealers succeed with confidence and clarity.

Huk has been working closely with Ray for 6 years. He enjoys dealer visits, playing frisbee and Dairy Queen.
Huk is a Pudelpointer; a purebred that was developed in the 1860’s in Germany by crossing hunting Poodles and English pointers.
